Jersey Description: A rookie CSKA Moscow away style jersey worn by Kirill Lyamin (Ottawa Senators #58/2004) during the 2003-04 season. The 86 born defenseman made an impressive debut in the Super League and spent a large part of the season with CSKA. Lyamin was also the top forward on Russia’s U18 squad during the 2004 U18 WJC. The jersey is manufactured by Lutch, the premier jersey manufacturer in Russia. It features a new material that the company introduced for the 2003-04 season that is smoother and apparently more durable. The jersey features large webbing under the arms. The Wurth and Mariher ads on the front and back bottom of the jersey are sewed on, as is the name plate on the back of the jersey. The Russian Hockey Federation patch on the bottom hem of the jersey is also sewed on to differentiate the jersey from the authentic replicas that the company also manufactures. Another feature of this jersey is the fighting strap. It is something new in Russia, since fighting is looked down upon and doesn’t occur all that often. The wear on the jersey is significant on the sleeves, including scoff marks and rips. There are also some marks on the body of the jersey. Please feel free to email us if you would like more detailed photos of the jersey! This jersey will be accompanied by a
RussianProspects.com Certificate of Authenticity (COA).
