11/11/2010 Team Russia defeats again QMJHL Selects

For the second straight game Team Russia defeated QMJHL All-Stars, again with a 1-goal margin. If during game 1 the most outstanding player on ice was Maxim Kitsyn (Los Angeles Kings), this time has been Nikita Dvurechensky's turn. The Dynamo Moscow winger scored two goals. Vladimir Malinovsky scored team Russia's first goal, while Artemy Panarin scored the game-winning goal after a great pass from center forward Denis Golubev. Team Russia thus swept the QMJHL leg of the Subway Super Series. The first game against the OHL selects is scheduled for today night. Will the Russians overcome the fatigue to get a record breaker third win on a row?
01/22/2010 KHL update: Avtsin injured, prospects score first KHL goal

Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) -  The second KHL season is undergoing and prospects get their share of attention. Unfortunately it's not a good news the one we report about Dynamo Moscow's Alexander Avtsin (Montreal Canadiens): during a regular season match he suffered from a hand injury and will have to sit for two months. His place in the lineup has been taken by one of MHL top scorers, Nikita Dvurechensky, who took only two games to score his first KHL goal today in the 4-6 home defeat of Dynamo against the other Dinamo from Riga.
But Dvurechensky hasn't been the only one prospect to score the first KHL goal: 2010 eligible Evgeny Kuznetsov scored the game winner in Tratkor's win in Togliatti against Lada with a smooth backhander one-on-one against the goalie. Kuznetsov might be chosen in next Draft's first round.

Draft Rankings and Comments:
Rank 1: #15
Rank 2: #12 Ranking Comments:the CSB ranks him very high, but as far as now he has not given many reasons to have him higher than players who have already achieved more. He scored a lot with Dynamo Moscow’s junior team, but plays a fringe role on Plyuschev’s side. He must get into some competition against men in order to develop further his good scoring abilities. At this point he looks more like a Vladimir Karpov, who was at one point highly ranked by the CSB but did not end up getting drafted.
